The Young Township supervisors discussed the difficulties the recreation board has been having recruiting new members at last Wednesday’s meeting.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, the supervisor’s chair said the recreation board is in need of a secretary and a treasurer. He noted that there has been no interest from the community to help with improvements and maintenance of the Walston Recreation Area.
Defelice said there has been help with grass cutting and maintenance of the Adrian playground but the roof of one of the dugouts at the Gigliotti Ball field still needs replaced.
