WEATHER DISCOVERY CENTER TO REMAIN ON LIMITED HOURS THROUGH MARCH

The Weather Discovery Center in Punxsutawney continues to operate on limited hours.

According to the Punxsy Spirit, executive director Marlene Lellock said the center is only open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm through the end of March.

Scout programming will begin in March and general programming will continue to be on hold until later in the year.

Lellock said they are maintaining COVID-19 protocols for visitor’s safety. The center continues to monitor the vaccine situation and hopes to be open more days beginning in April.
