Reynoldsville Borough Council began the search for a new code enforcement officer at its meeting last week.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, the Council President said the current code enforcement officer submitted his resignation earlier this month which has not been accepted as of yet since he will remain as the code enforcement officer in order to attend upcoming hearings before the district magistrate. A motion was approved to advertise for a new code enforcement officer.
The council president noted that a council member was interested in the position and planned to apply.
