State Police recently investigated two cases of child endangerment.
On September 2nd State Police in Clarion were travelling east on Route 368 when they observed a Pontiac Torrent driven by Lois Libecco of Parker driving over the center lines. After initiating a traffic stop, Libecco was found to have a suspended license for DUI, had a strong odor of alcohol and had a three year old passenger without any child restraint system.
Charges were filed last Wednesday in Judge Miller’s office and she has a preliminary hearing October 4th.
In the other case, State Police in Punxsutawney responded to a call on Friday afternoon of a Big Run woman leaving her two and three year olds in her Ford Taurus unattended in the Walmart parking lot in Young Township. The case is still under investigation.
