A 33-year-old Punxsutawney man was arrested following a traffic stop in Punxsutawney Borough on Feb. 15th.
Troopers say they stopped the man for an active warrant on Torrence St. and Hampton Ave. Police say further investigation revealed that the man was driving under the the influence of a controlled substance and charges will be filed.

A 16-year-old excapee of a local youth treatment center is in custody after reportedly stealing a truck and leading police on a pursuit in Clarion Borough.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, officers tried to conduct a traffic stop on the reportedly stolen truck at Liberty and 5th Ave. but police say the truck failed to yield, and that led to a pursuit.
Police say the pursuit ended when the juvenile went off the roadway near the intersection of Rehoboth Church Road and was taken into custody.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Police noted that charges are pending in relation to the escape and the pursuit but juvenile authorities will decide if the 16-year-old will go to an alternative placement.
