State Police in Punxsutawney are investigating a DUI and drug possession incident that occurred in Oliver Township of Jefferson County on Wednesday.
Troopers say a 20-year-old Reynoldsville man was arrested following a traffic stop on Reitz Road for possession of a controlled substance and suspicion of DUI. Police say an 18-year-old woman passenger was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia but was released from the scene.
Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.

A 52-year-old Clarion woman escaped injury following a one-vehicle accident in Clover Township of Jefferson County on Tuesday.
State Police in Punxsutawney say Deana Wright was traveling along Seldom Seen Road near Country Club Road when her vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree stump, and then struck a tree on an embankment before coming to a final rest on its driver’s side.
Troopers say Wright was cited and she was wearing a seat belt.
Corsica Fire Department and Jefferson County EMS assisted at the scene.
