
A DuBois man is facing charges following a police pursuit that ended in a crash in DuBois on Friday.
State Police in DuBois attempted to stop the driver of an SUV pulling a trailer, identified as Michael D. Myers who was traveling along I80 toward DuBois. Troopers say Myers was speeding and they observed other equipment violations. Police say Myers then fled at a high rate of speed off exit 101, proceeded through a red light, and continued toward DuBois.
Troopers continued to follow the vehicle that reportedly swerved through traffic and continued to flee on Midway Drive through Lowe’s parking lot and back to State Route 255 where the vehicle hit a curb and lost the trailer. Police say the vehicle continued to swerve through traffic till it reached the Industrial Drive Intersection, where it entered the northbound lane and struck a minivan occupied by two adults and three children. Myers then lost control of the vehicle and was taken into custody.
No injuries were reported.

Brookville Borough Police responded to a local business for a report of an unruly customer that led to an arrest on Sunday.
Police say they observed a 26-year-old man, not identified in the report, leaving the business and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for code violations on Allegheny Blvd.
Authorities found the man to be in possession of cocaine and packaging materials for controlled substances and subsequently placed him under arrest.
The man was lodged in Jefferson County Jail with charges pending.
