The Punxsutawney School Board received an update from representatives of HHSDR Architects regarding the upcoming project in phase two of the $1.6 million capital improvement project plan at their meeting Thursday.
Jon Finn of HHSDR said one of the big projects is a covered walkway in the back parking lot of the elementary school. Finn said the walkway will provide some protection from the elements for students and teachers during parent pickup and drop off.
Architects also plan to repave and patch walkways around the campus as well as areas of asphalt. Finn said they will be accepting bids for the project during the last three weeks in March with bids to be received by April 1st.
