
State Police in DuBois say two Brookville residents were injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred in Polk Township of Jefferson County on Thursday.
Troopers say the crash occurred on Richardsville Road when the driver, 43-year-old Michelle Beck, began to slide on the ice covered roadway. Police say the vehicle then stuck an embankment and overturned.
Beck and her passenger were transported to Penn Highlands Hospital with unknown injuries.

State Police in DuBois are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred in Washington Township of Jefferson County on Sunday.
Troopers say the one-vehicle crash happened along Kyle Run Road near Stevenson Hill Road when the driver, 38-year-old Robert Steele Sr. of Brockport, crossed into the opposite lane while negotiating a curve. Police say the vehicle continued off the road, struck a utility pole, and spun before coming to a final rest. Steele sustained suspected minor injuries and the vehicle sustained disabling damage.
Police say Steele left the scene and did not report the crash. Police note Steele’s license is suspended for DUI related incident and charges are pending further investigation.

A 57-year-old Punxsutawney man was taken into custody following a traffic stop in Punxsutawney Borough Saturday.
Troopers say the stopped the vehicle along West Mahoning Street for an expired registration and found that the driver appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
Police say the driver was also in possession of drugs and paraphernalia and was subsequently taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and possession.

State Police in Indiana say a chase Wednesday evening ended with multiple charges including child endangerment against the Cambria County driver.
Police say a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Timothy Keith of Northern Cambria crossed over the double yellow line twice, then failed to see a stop sign at Pine Flats Road and Route 580 in Green Township of Indiana County.
Troopers say the officer activated his lights and siren by Keith failed to stop until it reached a location along Stitt Road. Keith, his girlfriend and 13-year-old son were found in the vehicle.
Authorities say Keith was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude an officers, endangering the welfare of child among other related charges.

A 30-year-old Marion Center man was taken into custody following a traffic stop in Rayne Township of Indiana County Saturday.
Police say they stopped the vehicle along State Route 119 near Wrigden Run Road for an equipment violation and noticed the driver appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
Troopers say the driver was then taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and drug possession.

State Police say a 30-year-old New Alexandria man faces charges of making terroristic threats to the Clymer Magisterial District Court on Friday.
Troopers say after making three calls the man was quoted as saying on the final call that he would, “show up and stomp the clerk’s face in.”
