No injuries were reported after a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) burst into flames just before 8 pm Tuesday in Young Township of Jefferson County.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, there was a can of gas stored in the back of the UTV, which spilled onto the muffler and caused the fire.
Lindsey fire crews doused the flames shortly after their arrival. The vehicle was completely destroyed, except for the metal frame.
Lindsey Fire Company was assisted by state police and Jefferson County EMS.
The two people riding the UTV were uninjured.
