Local fire crews responded to multiple brush fires on Sunday.
According to Jefferson County Fire Wire, Big Run, Sykesville, and Elk Run Crews responded to a report of an outside fire just before 3:30 pm at a location along Shenosky Road in Gaskill Township.
Just after 3:40 pm, Sykesville Fire Department responded to another reported outside fire along Blose Hill Road.
Perry Township fire crews responded to an outside fire along Porter Road just after 5:30 pm, while Elk Run and Lindsey crews were called out to a reported brush fire along Eric Drive in Young Township just after 6 pm.
No further details regarding injury or damage have been released yet.
