A benefit dinner will be held for Sharon Writght of Punxsutawney, who is receiving treatment for cancer, from noon to 4 pm Saturday at the Flashover Club in Punxsutawney.
The Punxsy Spirit reports that Sharon’s daughter, Megan Wright said the funds raised will help with medical bills and finances, as Sharon has not been able to work during the course of her treatments.
In addition to the dinner there will also be a basket raffle.
