Sykesville borough Council received an update on the Jefferson County Solid Waste Authority recycling site it is hosting at Monday’s council meeting.
The Punxsy Spirit reports that recycling containers were placed on April 8. The containers accept No. 1 (see-through bottles) and No 2 (milk jugs) plastic bottles, corrugated cardboard, office paper, junk mail, newspaper, magazines and tin and steel canned foods and beverage containers.
All recycling containers are labeled accordingly and the authority will check in on them periodically.
