
A Summerville man is facing harassment charges after reportedly threatening a firefighter in Summerville borough on April 30.
Troopers say 46-year-old Kenneth Peace of Summerville became upset with an 18-year-old firefighter who was working at the scene of a traffic crash along creek street at Route 28. Peace reportedly attempted to drive onto the closed roadway and engaged in a verbal altercation with one of the firefighters.
Troopers say Peace threatened bodily harm as the firefighter was leaving the scene.

Police say a vehicle struck a guide rail along I80 eastbound in Pine Creek Township of Jefferson County last week.
Troopers say the one vehicle crash occurred at mile marker 83 when 20 year old Mallory Reitz of Brookville attempted to pass a tractor trailer. Her vehicle left the roadway, struck a guide rail, and continued several hundred feet before coming to a final rest on the shoulder of the highway. Reitz was not injured.
Jefferson County EMS assisted on scene.

Brookville Borough police are investigating a child endangerment incident that occurred April 24 along Jenks Street in Brookville.
Police say two toddlers crossed Jenks Street to an apartment and began knocking and crying for their mother. Bystanders reportedly assisted the children upstairs to the apartment. Police say that along with CYS involvement, charges have been filed for endangering the welfare of the children.
Police did not release the suspects name.

A traffic stop in Burnside Township of Clearfield County reportedly lead to a meth seizure on April 26.
State Police in Punxsutawney say they stopped the vehicle on Shepard Lane Road near Cabin Road just after 11:00 am. Troopers say a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of over 20 grams of meth as well as drug paraphernalia.
Police say both the driver, identified as 24-year-old Jarvie Goss of Glen Campbell, and the passenger, identified as 40-year-old Steven Dewitt of Burnside were arrested for possession with intent to deliver.
