
State Police in DuBois have filed criminal charges against a Reynoldsville man who allegedly threatened a woman with a gun during an incident in Washington Township of Jefferson County on Tuesday.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, police were dispatched to the scene around 6:40 pm and spoke with the victim who reported a vehicle pulled in behind her at her relative’s residence and 31-year-old David Michael Chapdelaine got out, with a pistol in hand, and threatened her.
Police then interviewed Chapdelaine and a passenger is his vehicle. The passenger reported that Chapdelaine did have a gun during the argument but did not disclose any other details. Chapdelaine reportedly admitted that he did argue with the victim, had a gun in hand, and threatened her but he said he did not point the gun at her.
Chapdelaine is free on bail with a preliminary hearing set for May 25.

State Police in Punxsutawney response to a report of a hit and run crash in Beaver Township of Jefferson County on Tuesday.
Troopers say the crash occurred on around 10:30 am on Pansy Ringgold Road when a vehicle struck an overhead electric line, pulling the line from a garage. Police say the the driver failed to stop and was last scene headed down Pansy Ringgold Road.
No injuries were reported.

Multiple fire crews responded to the scene of a tractor-trailer fire involving a load of hay that occurred on Route 119 in North Mahoning Township of Indiana County around 4:30 pm on Thursday. The incident closed 119 in both directions for several hours.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, no injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
Perry Township, Lindsey, and Central fire companies worked to extinguish the fire on scene. Volunteers from McCalmont Township Fire Department were called to assist.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
