
State Police in DuBois filed charges on May 10 against a Falls Creek woman who allegedly sent sexually explicit photos and other messages to a 15-year-old boy.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, 39-year-old Brandy Sue Pierce was charged in connection with an incident that began in October of 2018. Pierce, who was 36 at the time, reportedly contacted and sent sexually explicit social media messages with a 15-year-old victim.
Pierce was charged with Unlawful Contact with a Minor relating to Obscene and other Sexual Materials and Performances and related charges.
A preliminary hearing is set for June 29.

A Clearfield man picked up in a police sweep of a Hill Street Extension Residence in Clearfield last year was sentenced to time in state prison on Monday.
According to GANT News, in October, 30-year-old Michael Warrick was among those found at the residence and was reportedly seen at the residence with 20-year-old Curtis Mulligan, another subject of the sweep.
Milligan, who had a warrant for his arrest was taken into custody while Warrick was found to be in possession of a ledger of names, drug amounts, and values as well as drug paraphernalia.
On Monday, Warrick pleaded guilty to felony possession with intent to deliver-heroin and was sentenced to nine months to two years in state prison.
His probation on a previous drug paraphernalia charge was also revoked for which he was sentenced to a consecutive term of three months to one year in state prison.
Milligan was sentenced in January to 90 days to one year in county jail with two years consecutive probation for felony possession with intent to deliver-meth, less than 25 grams.

Multiple fire companies responded to a structure fire on Arch Street in New Bethlehem early this morning.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, the call came in around 5:30 am.
Fire crews from Limestone Township, New Bethlehem, Hawthorn and Ringgold were dispatched to the scene.
Clarion Hospital Ambulance also responded.
Crews remained on scene as of 7:30 am.
No further details regarding injury or damage have been released yet.

A Punxsutawney woman escaped injury following a one-vehicle crash along State Route 36 in Barnett Township of Jefferson County on Sunday.
State Police in Marienville say the crash occurred on Route 36 near Wofford Road when 69-year-old Edith Snyder lost control of the vehicle due to wet, slushy road conditions. Police say the vehicle ran off the side of the road and struck several large rocks.
Snyder was using a seat belt and was not injured.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
