
The Punxsutawney Borough Police Department along with the Festival in the Park have announced that a Bike Rodeo will be held Saturday June 26 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Harmon Field in Punxsutawney.
The event is for young bike riders between the ages of 5 and 12 to practice bike safety. There will be several agility courses to practice safe turning, hand signals, slow race, and more! All you need to participate is a signed permission slip form a parent or guardian, a bike, and helmet.

The Punxsutawney Borough Police has worked with the Punxsutawney Festival in the Park to bring back the Bike Rodeo – which introduces young riders to the basics of bike safety – to be held June 26 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 at Harmon Field in Punxsutawney.
The team needs your help to raise enough in donations to purchase 12 new bikes with winners to be chosen at random after the event. Donations needed for the rodeo include bike helmets, new bicycles (16”, 18”, 20”, and 24”) and money to purchase new bikes.

The Ringgold Area Volunteer Fire Company will hold a Mommy Market and Chicken BBQ Saturday June 5 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Ringgold area fire hall located at 163 firehall Road in Ringgold.
The Chicken BBQ will begin at 11 am and go on until they are sold out with proceeds to benefit the fire company and ladies auxiliary.
