Punxsutawney’s SPLASH Organization (Save Punxsy’s Local Area Swimming Hole) is $1,350 closer to its $75,000 goal following a fundraiser held at The Loyal Order of the Moose Punxsutawney No. 954 last week.

SPLASH is fundraising a match for a grant to upgrade the pool as well as operating expenses. The George C. Brown Community Pool is set to open June 5 and life guards are still needed.
