
An employee at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Brookville was injured in a fall at the courthouse on May 25.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, the fall resulted in a cut to an artery on the employee’s arm, caused by a dish that she was carrying when she fell.
Judge John Foradora applied a homemade tourniquet moments after the incident. EMTs arrived that scene a short time later and the injured employee was transferred to DuBois Region Medial Center.
She was resting comfortably as of Wednesday morning.
