The Bell Township Supervisors voted to lower the speed limit on Airport Road to 40 from 55 mph at this week’s meeting.
According to the Punxsy Spirit, a traffic study was done to determine the need for the speed change and the superviosrs passed a motion to advertise an ordinance reducing the speed limit at May’s meeting.
The motion to adopt the ordinance establishing a 40 mph speed limit on Airport Road carried.
