A preliminary hearing for two Punxsutawney residents charged with child endangerment has been continued to next month.
The Punxsy Spirit reports that 21-year-old Dakota Michael Norway and 23-year-old Tana Wollow will next appear before a judge on July 15. Punxsutawney Borough Police were dispatched to a residence on Jefferson Street on May 11 after it was reported than an infant was seen on the roof. On scene, police saw a small child dangling on the side of a third-floor window. Shortly after, someone pulled the child back inside.
Norway reportedly told police the child slept in the room with an older sibling who knew how to open the window. Police called CYS after reportedly observing a deadbolt on the outside of the children’s bedroom door.
Police noted that the window was easily opened from the inside and a neighbor alleged that the incident had happened before.
