State Police in Punxsutawney say that after further investigation and interviews it was determined that the one-year-old girl who went missing from her North Mahoning Township home along Coolspring Road may have wandered away until police found her safe.
In the original report – the child went missing Thursday around 1:25 pm but was found safe about 1.5 miles east of her address.
Authorities say the father of the child had noticed a vehicle drive past his home several times before his daughter went missing but police determined after further investigation that there was no vehicle involved in the incident.

State Police in Indiana County are encouraging everyone to use caution and obey the laws regarding ATV and UTV use.
Troopers say they recently found that some PA residents have tried to register their ATV in another state in an effort to get an exemption from compliance with PA’s ATV operation law. Although, police say the ATV operation law is the same for ATVs registered in PA as well as other states.
ATVs are generally prohibited on PA roadways – however there are some exceptions including one that allows ATV operation on roads that have been designated by PennDOT or local authorities as an ATV or snowmobile road.
