A Plumville man will spend up to fifteen years in state prison for a series of arsons and for two related cases.
In Indiana County Court on Monday, 21-year-old Dylan Dalessio was ordered to serve 16 months to 15 years each for of three counts of conspiracy to commit arson, two to 15 years each for four felony one counts of arson and for a felony two count of arson, he was ordered to serve one to five years. He was also sentenced to three months to five years for fraud and two-and-a-half to five years for witness intimidation. All the charges were connected with a series of fires set between 2018 and 2019, including the fire at a furniture store in West Mahoning Township, an abandoned garage in Washington Township, and a barn on Route 954, also in Washington Township. Dalessio entered his guilty pleas in August of this year. Indiana County President Judge Tom Bianco ordered that all the sentences would run concurrently and that he would be given credit for time already served.
Meanwhile, co-defendant 25-year-old Nicholas Leone of Creekside is still awaiting trial on charges related to three of the incidents. A criminal call hearing will be held on January 7th.
