Yesterday a high-speed chase on I-80 ended with spike strips and two New York men in custody.
WTAJ News reports, Pennsylvania State Police based in DuBois found a BMW with New York tags doing 85 mph in a 70 mph zone; however, after police attempted a traffic stop the vehicle accelerated to over 100 mph and spike strips were set up near mile marker 63. The vehicle ran over them causing it to hit a tractor-trailer. Carl Henry and Jamal Daniel, both 23 attempted to run from police but were caught.
The published reports says authorities found drugs, cash and other paraphernalia and face several felony charges. Time of day was not given.
