Two residents of Penfield each pleaded guilty in federal court to violation of federal narcotics laws related to an investigation into drug trafficking in and around the counties of Jefferson, Clearfield, and Allegheny.
According to a DOJ press release on Wednesday, 48 year old Terry Kelly and 60 year old Jason Whitaker each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess and distribute 500 grams or more of meth.
Sentencing is scheduled for Whitaker and Kelly on August 25. The law provides a minimum of 10 years to a maximum of life in prison, a fine not to exceed $10 million, or both.
