The DuBois Regional Airport will receive over $400K thanks to 10 million dollars in state funding for long-awaited upgrades for several airports.
The money comes from Pennsylvania’s Aviation Transportation Assistance Program. A total of 12 projects at ten airports will be sharing in the funds. The largest allocation, 3 million dollars, goes to Reading Regional in Berks County. It’ll be used for the construction of a hangar complex to accommodate the anticipated expansion of an existing client. Other recipients include Philadelphia and Pittsburgh International Airports, as well as facilities in Cumberland, York, Lancaster, Lehigh, Jefferson, and Snyder counties.
