A 55 year old man from Big Run was seriously injured in a car crash on Saturday.
Punxsutawney State Police report the crash occurred on Route 119 around 5:30, when Robert Stiles was traveling south and crossed the double yellow line, went down over an embankment and hit a large tree.
Stiles was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment of serious injuries. He was found to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested for DUI and related offenses.
The investigation will conclude pending blood results.
