
A preliminary hearing is set for a Brookville man who was charged with DUI after he allegedly arrived at Brookville elementary school intoxicated.
According to court documents, on December 4, Brookville Police Department filed four criminal charges including driving under the influence of alcohol against 45-year-old Richard Murray of Brookville.
The complaint states, back on November 1, 2018 the school Police Officer believed that Murray had consumed alcoholic beverages before arriving at the school to pick up two elementary-aged children.
Investigators believed that Murray was under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest. He was transported to Penn Highland Brookville Hospital where he consented to a blood draw.
The lab report indicated that Murray’s BAC was 0.23%.
