This past Sunday morning a truck/passenger car accident happened on Interstate 80 and authorities listed several possible injuries.
DuBois State Police say a 41 year old man from Illinois was driving his truck directly behind an SUV driven by a 47 year old woman from Massachusetts, who began to slow down. Troopers say the truck was unable to quickly reduce speed and hit the SUV from behind, causing her to lose control of the vehicle, which bounced off the guide rail several times before coming to a stop.
Police say one of her six passengers, a seven year old female, was transported to UPMC Pittsburgh for treatment. Police cited the truck diver for driving too closely to another vehicle. No other information on injuries was available.
