State Senator Joe Pittman has been re-elected the Senate Majority Leader for the 2025-26 legislative session.
Pittman was selected to the post by his fellow Republican Senators on Wednesday. He will be the second-highest ranking Republican in the Senate, behind Majority Leader Kim Ward, who was also re-elected to her post yesterday. Pittman said yesterday that with a 28-22 majority in the Senate, the Republican party will focus on empowering the citizens.
