A 71-year-old Polk man, Charles Raym McCutcheon, faces assault and related charges after interfering with firefighters and striking an assistant fire chief during a house fire response in Victory Township on November 26.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.com, authorities allege McCutcheon refused to leave the scene, struck the assistant chief, and resisted arrest. He was charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault and obstructing emergency services, and released on $7,500 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for January 8.
