CDC SAYS WHOOPING COUGH CASES QUICKLY RISING IN PA

In its latest report, the CDC says cases of whooping cough are quickly rising in Pennsylvania, as 35 new cases were reported over the last week.

So far this year, 2,657 cases of whooping cough have been reported that’s an increase of 2,352 cases from this time last year. More than 60,000 cases have been reported in the U.S. so far this year. The CDC recommends vaccination as the best way to prevent getting whooping cough.
