Firefighters battled a major blaze at 37 South 5th Avenue in downtown Clarion on Saturday afternoon.
According to ExploreClarion.com, the building, home to Vape n’ Play and multiple apartments, caught fire around 2:45 p.m., with flames visible from the top floor. Crews from Clarion Fire & Hose Company No. 1, Strattanville Volunteer Fire Company, and Limestone Volunteer Fire Department responded, along with local police and EMS.
Roads in the area were closed for hours as firefighters worked to contain the blaze. No immediate injuries were reported.
