A 61-year-old Knox woman, Marsha Frantz, is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly draining her 90-year-old mother’s bank account while the victim was in a care facility.
According to ExploreClarion.com, Frantz was only permitted to use her mother’s debit card for pet care but instead depleted over $21,000, leaving the account negative. She also allegedly convinced her mother to sign over her Toyota RAV4, then traded it for a new truck. Frantz has been released on $10,000 unsecured bail, with a preliminary hearing set for February 12.
