A man faces aggravated assault charges after injuring a state trooper while attempting to escape from a treatment facility in Monroe Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Clarion.
The incident occurred on February 28 when the man fled the facility and boarded a Clarion Transportation bus. Troopers attempted to detain him, but he resisted, injuring an officer. Upon being returned to the facility, he also attempted to bite a healthcare worker.
The suspect was arrested and taken to Clarion County Jail.
