The State Police have a description of a driver and a vehicle that was allegedly involved in a hit and run and they need you help.
Authorities say the incident happened on January 29 around 1:30 pm on Mill Road in Big Run , Jefferson County when 62 year old Patrick Hirtle had his commercial vehicle stopped on the road so he could back his trailer into a business to make a delivery. Punxsutawney State Police say that’s when a pick up truck came from behind and attempted to pass Hirtle on the right hand side and hit the bumper of his truck and fled the scene.
The driver is described as a white female in her 60’s with gray hair and glasses. Her vehicle is described as a brown-colored Chevy S10, maybe a ’94. Anyone with information is asked to call the State police in Punxsutawney at 814 938 0510.
