A man from New Bethlehem allegedly assaulted a pregnant woman during a domestic dispute in Union Township, Jefferson County.
According to ExploreClarion.com, the State Police in Punxsutawney have filed criminal charges of strangulation, simple assault and harassment against 25-year-old Kyle Alan Batley of New Bethlehem. The published report cites the criminal complaint that alleges Batley was physically abusive to a woman who is pregnant with his child.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 5, with Judge Bazylak.
