The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a high wind watch in effect from Sunday morning through Monday afternoon.
Winds are expected to be westerly at 25 to 35 MPH, with gusts of 50 to 60 MPH. The strongest winds are expected Sunday morning through Sunday evening. Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are possible.
A high wind watch means there is the potential for a hazardous high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph, or gusts of 58 mph or stronger may occur.
