Authorities say a woman from Brockway lost her life in a crash that happened last evening on State Route 28, in Snyder Township.
According to Exploreclarion.com, 23 year old Abagail Dobson of Brockway was traveling south on Route 28 in Snyder Township, Jefferson County, around 8:00 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle while going around a curve and traveled into the other side of the road, where she was struck by a vehicle driven by Frank Barber.
The published reports says the conditions in the area of the crash were extremely icy and windy, and Dobson, was not wearing a seat-belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by Jefferson County Coroner.
