
Several pounds of marijuana were found as police were investigating a car accident.
According to the State Police in DuBois, the crash occurred on February 26 around 11 am on I 80 West near the DuBois Penfield Exit when a car driven by 29 year old Qing Zhenz of Waterford, PA was allegedly driving erratically and struck a vehicle driven by 41 year old Brice Anel of Orlando Florida.
Investigators say both vehicles veered off the roadway and hit an embankment. The two were transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment of minor injuries.
Upon further investigation, the State Police discovered several pounds of marijuana in Zheng’s car and charges, including possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, were filed through the District Court.

The State Police in Punxsutawney say a PennDOT truck was vandalized.
According to authorities, the vandalism occurred between the evening of February 15 and the morning of February 19 along Route 1830 in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County when someone had attempted to pry open a PennDOT state vehicle without success. They fled the scene leaving $600 worth of damage to the doors of the truck.
