
Two people from Punxsutawney are facing third degree homicide by vehicle charges that stem from a fatal crash that happened on route 119 back in 2017.
According to the court documents, 14 charges have been filed against 26 year old Amber Dawn Hemphill and 10 charges have been filed against 36 year old Michael John Brown, both from Punxsutawney. Mutual charges include homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle and illegal racing. The criminal complaint suggests the two were racing at speeds close to 100 miles per hour when the crash occurred, killing one of Brown’s passengers, 30 year old Bradly Greenlee.
Arrest warrants have been issued for both defendants.
