Driving under the influence charges are pending for a Punxsutawney man.
According to the State Police in Punxsutawne, 58 year old John Mizerock was stopped for a summary traffic violation at the intersection of Pine Street and Gilpin Street on February 28 around 10 pm, and after further investigation he was determined to be DUI.
Charges are pending.

There was a fender bender in a parking lot on Friday.
The State Police in Punxsutawney say the accident happened just after 5 pm in Young Township, Jefferson County when two vehicles were backing out of of their parking stalls when one driver failed to notice the other and hit them.
Both had minor damage and nobody was hurt.

The State Police in Clarion are investigating another phone scam.
According to authorities, this incident happened between one and two in the afternoon on February 28 and March 2 when a 68 year old woman from Emlenton received a call from a man who claimed she had won money from Publishers Clearing House.
Troopers say the woman gave him money using Amazon gift cards.
The investigation continues, and State Police remind everyone no to give out any personal information.

Yesterday the snow was the cause of another accident.
The State Police in Marienville say the crash happened just after 5 pm on Route 899 South of Bear Run in Barnett Township, Forest County when 22 year old Lauren Kerr from Pittsburgh was going around a slippery, snow-covered curve, lost control of her car, and spun around to hit a guide rail before coming to a stop.
Kerr was slightly injured and refused medical treatment.

We have scant details about a domestic incident involving a victim who is a 41 year old woman from Saint Petersburg.
According to the State police in Clarion, 36 year old Walter Walker was arrested for simple assault and harassment on March 1 around two in the morning on Block East Main Street in Saint Petersburg in Clarion County.

State Police in Clarion are looking for information in a case of criminal mischief.
On February 28 around noon, authorities say someone allegedly broke into a car belonging to a 61 year old man from Doc Walker Road in Parker, Parry Township and damaged his steering column and electronic panel, causing about $20 in damage.

Indiana Borough Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck a parked vehicle in the 300 block of Blairton Avenue.
Authorities say the incident happened between last Thursday at 7 PM and Saturday at 4:30 pm. There is no description of the offending vehicle.

Another snow cover road with ice was the cause of another accident yesterday.
This accident happened close to 5 pm on Caldwell Road North of Ferguson Road in Eldred Township, Jefferson County, when according to the State Police in Marienville, 34 year old Ryan Graham of Sigel lost control of his vehicle while going around an icy curve, went down an embankment and rolled onto its roof.
Graham was wearing his seat belt and not injured, but his vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
