The Punxsutawney Borough Council held their reorganization meeting yesterday.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, motions and seconds were made leading to a tie between two nominees for Council President and Vice President, giving way for the tie-breaking decision to be made by Mayor Richard Alexander.
The published report says the Mayor felt Punxsy Council needed a change at the top and cast his vote for Bill Williams to be President and Jim Bianco as Vice President.
