“This is a challenging time for Make-A-Wish children and because of COVID-19, they have to postpone 86 wishes indefinitely. These children are already facing unbelievable health challenges and were looking forward to an escape from their illness. Make-A-Wish is facing challenging times too. In addition to wishes being postponed, the majority of fundraising events have either been canceled or postponed, resulting in a loss of $250,000 to date. These funds pay for wishes, ensure that a child has something to focus on other than their illness, and brings families together. If you are in a position to help, we would be so grateful!”
